Aguachile (Chili Water) 

This Mexican dish is from the Western coastal region of México.  

It is believed that the pre-Hispanic cultures used to mix dry meat with water, and chilies (chiltepín chili).  

In 1970, they added other ingredients such as lime juice, cucumber, coriander, avocado, red onion, salt, and pepper. Also, the meat was replaced with raw shrimp.  



This dish has come from Peru.
